Dwarka Temple

Bet Dwarka was also known by the name of Bet Shankhodar, which was a major port before the development of Okha Port. It was the abode of Lord Krishnas Queens. In the temple of the Bet, the deities of the queen such as Lakshmiji, Radhaji, Jambuvantiji and Satyabhamaji are mainly found here.
On the island, there are 20 Vaishnav Temples, 23 Shivalayas, 9 Hanuman Temples, 6 Devi temples and many other temples.

It is believed that the Old Shankhnarayan temple was built around V.S 1774. Shrimad Vallabhacharyaji in V.S 1535 established the Mahaprabhuji Baithak here. Bet Dwarka is located at a distance of 3 km from Okha Port by sea.

 

Khijadia Bird Sanctuary

Khijadia Bird Sanctuary is located 10 km Northeast of Jamnagar and represents the combination of seasonal freshwater shallow lake, creeks, saltpans, inter-tidal mudflats, saline land and mangrove scrub. The place is highly recognized as the breeding ground of the great crested grebe. Besides the great crested grebe, it is also a major breeding ground of purple moorhen, little grebe, black-winged stilt, coot and pheasant-tailed Jacana.
Raptors including harriers, hawks, falcons and eagle are also found at the place. The sanctuary is also the haven of various migratory birds like swallows, wagtails, martins and various waterfowls. The site is also considered remarkable for ecological research and education.

Pirotan Island

Pirotan Island is spread over an area of 3 square kilometres and is one of forty-two islands in the marine park area, nestled within the vicinity of the Marine National Park in the Jamnagar district of Gujarat on the western coast. As part of the first marine national park - the Gulf of Kutch Marine National Park, established in 1982, Pirotan Island offers an undisturbed rendezvous with nature in its abode.

Shivrajpur Beach

Shivrajpur Beach is a beautiful beach with clear waters and white sands. The beach offers stunning sunsets and picturesque views to the tourists. The beach is not very commercialized which makes it an ideal place to spend some peaceful time with family and friends. One can spot Dolphins and some beautiful birds on the sea here.
Shivrajpur Beach is located at 12km from Dwarka (Gujarat) on Dwarka-Okha Highway and 144 kms from Jamnagar

Ranmal Lake

At a distance of 14 km from Leelavati Nature Cure and Yoga Research Center, Ranmal Lake is a manmade lake located in the heart of Jamnagar city. Also called as Lakhota Lake, it is one of the largest water bodies in the city and among the prime places to visit in Jamnagar. The Ranmal Lake was constructed in the mid-19th century by Jam Ranmal II, the king of Nawanagar. The lake was intended to act as a water reservoir in times of need. It is a major place of recreation for the people of Jamnagar who wants to spend some quality time with family and friends amidst nature.

Balachari Beach

This beach which depicts pristine natural beauty at its best is the perfect place to relax away from the bustling city life. Locals as well as offbeat travellers make it a point to getaway from the chaotic city life and offer some tranquillity. People can be seen sun bathing here and spending their weekend getaways as well. The perfect time to be here is during a full moon night when everything is lit up and glowing by the moon light and adding to the eternal beauty here. it is also located in close proximity to the central city of Jamnagar and makes for a great place to kick back relax and just feel all your tension melt away with every wave that goes by.

This particular port which offers stunning views of the blue unending horizon and mesmerising surroundings is located at a mere distance of 8 km from the railway station of Jamnagar.
